Our city needs our generosity...
but why do we give financially?
When we devote our lives to Jesus, we begin the pursuit of living like Him. One of the most extraordinary and defining characteristics of Jesus is his radical generosity that saved the world:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Similarly, we are called to be generous and utilize our person finances to gift the lost with eternal life with Jesus. Thus, we give faithfully and selflessly.
Many start with a tithe, or 10% of your income. Others give well over 10% because ministries like ALIVE in Santa Barbara cannot survive without courageous donors.

What God Did Through ALIVE Last Year
Salvation
Over 100 young adults decided to fully devote their lives to Jesus.
Discipleship
Developed and empowered over 30 volunteer leaders who led Bible studies, shared Jesus with their communities, and served on our greeting, events, and outreach teams.
Services
Hosted 30+ events and services with 50-200 people in attendance.

1. We are committed to remaining rooted in the uncompromised Word of God. While some attempt to reach the next generations by distorting the message of Jesus, we know the Truth will set us free.
2. We are committed to
always leaning into mentorship, walking in humility, learning from generations that came before us, and understanding that the body of Christ is strongest in collaboration.

honoring the momentum God has created, and obeying James 1:6-7: "Let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave in the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." We know God desires for our city to turn to Him in masses, so we boldly pray for and pursue revival in Santa Barbara.

What We're Trusting God to do this Year
Foundation Building
We're not just here for a season. This year, we're building a foundation that will last generations by establishing elite staff members, full-scale church operations , and a stable financial footing.
Sunday Services
For years, we ran into the same question every week: "Where do you all go to church?" If all this was done through homegroups, can you imagine what God will do through Sunday services?
God's Location
God miraculously provided a prime, affordable location for us to gather on Sunday mornings and for our mid-week meeting. It's in the heart of Santa Barbara, and we need to lock down this location now.
ALIVE Kids
We used to lack the ability to reach young families, but hiring a Children's Director will change everything. We'll build much more than a daycare, but a ministry that strives to love, have unforgettable fun, and write theological truth on every child's heart.
1st Annual All-City Worship Night
Our long-term plan includes unifying our city's churches to bring Santa Barbara to Christ as one force. In 2026, we will launch our first annual All-City Worship Night at the Marjory Luke Theatre.

Why do we give?
We believe we are called to give sacrificially above and beyond our tithe to expand what God is doing locally and globally through his church.
How do I give?
There are a lot of ways you can give! You can give by check, debit card, or with a credit card by clicking this link.
You can also give with assets, such as stocks & mutual funds, charitable gift annuities (CGAs), cryptocurrency or real estate. For assistance with donation of an asset, please contact jason@alivesb.com.
For now, we are accepting donations through Anthem Chapel. If you'd like to give by check, please be sure that checks are made out to ANTHEM Chapel with Alive SB in the memo!
How are my tithes and offerings being used?

How do I make changes to my recurring donation?
To make changes to your recurring donation, you can login in directly to your Pushpay account here.
How are electronic donations processed?
Payments to ALIVE are handled through our partner Anthem Chapel. Anthem's payment portal features the very best secure payment encryption technology.
Is my giving to ALIVE tax deductible?
Yes, ALIVE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
When will I receive my annual giving statement?
Your annual giving statement will be emailed to you in January for the previous calendar year. You can login to your Pushpay account to access your annual giving statement.
End-of-year contributions
You can give your year-end contributions online or in person at our Alive campus. Online contributions made by midnight on December 31 and mail in contributions that are postmarked by December 31 are recorded as contributions for that same year.
All contributions received or postmarked after December 31 are recorded as contributions for the following year. Year-end giving statements are emailed by no later than January 31 to the email address we have on file.
